White Rose Park, formerly known as the Arlington Business Centre, is an established and successful employment centre located to the southwest of Leeds city centre. A hub for innovation and regeneration, it has seen as significant level of development over the years.

Starting in 1997, DHA have submitted a number of associated planning applications to Leeds City council on behalf of our clients, Munroe K Ltd. Applications included:

  • A single storey staff restaurant for Arlington Business Centre
  • Multiple office blocks with undercroft parking
  • Multi storey car parks
  • Café and restaurants
  • Creche for staff working at the park
  • Access and road layout configuration
  • Drainage works
  • Landscaping

Current businesses on site include the Elliott Hudson College, Capita, Samsung and DAZN, occupying high specification and modern office premises. These are set within landscaping, internal estate roads and pedestrian routes, accompanied by vehicle parking provision which comprises a mix of undercroft and open plan parking, and two multi-storey car parks.

By moving surface car parking spaces into buildings and underground, the significant investment in the quantity and quality of the landscaping has led to a substantial improvement to the quality of the local urban environment. These carparking provisions provide a total of almost 3,000 spaces on site, with additional cycle parking.

With over 52,000 m2 of office and ancillary floorspace, the Park is the largest single employment area in the whole of the Leeds conurbation and in West Yorkshire, with approximately 5,100 employees based at the site.
