Jonathan is a Director heading up our Crawley/Gatwick office. He joined DHA in 2005 and has 25 years experience in planning consultancy, having previously worked on major regeneration projects, including the Emirates Stadium, with Hepher Dixon (now Savills) in Milton Keynes and London.
Jonathan works on a wide range of residential and commercial projects, and has also advised local authorities on major developments including the Manston Airport Development Consent Order. Successes have included securing planning permission for a major industrial complex in Nottinghamshire, an urban extension in Cornwall, a 1 million square foot medical campus in Maidstone and a 600 space HGV park in Ashford.
Jonathan also chairs Developers East Sussex, which brings together public and private sector developer interests in the county, through which he has had several meetings with Secretaries of State and Ministers in the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.
When not at work, Jonathan coaches a girls' football team and experiences the highs and lows of being a Leicester City supporter.

Natural England Withdraws ‘Water Neutrality’ AdviceNatural England has confirmed that it has withdrawn its ‘water neutrality’ advice for parts of West Sussex, marking an important step forward for housing delivery in the region. The change follows close collaboration between government agencies and Southern Water to agree new long-term environmental safeguards that protect the Arun Valley’s sensitive habitats while enabling sustainable development to resume across Horsham, Crawley and Chichester.
