In 1986 David Hicken set up David Hicken Associates, run from Wellington House, Maidstone. A few years later in 1988, with four permanent staff David Hicken Associates moved to a converted barn in Loose, Maidstone where they are based for the next 18 years.
2006 saw DHA make the move to a purpose built office at Eclipse Park, Maidstone, to accommodate the growing company and provide a modern spacious environment for our staff and clients.
In 2008, a Design team was created to work alongside the planning team to support the delivery of viable, well designed, imaginative and viable schemes. Shortly after in 2009 Alex Hicken, now our Managing Director founded DHA Transport to allow a multi-displinary team to serve our clients and wide range of projects. By 2010 the Environment team was created due to the increasing requirement to provide sustainable development.
In 2015 Alex Hicken was appointed Managing Director of DHA with David Hicken acting as Chairman for the company.
