Having opened an office in central Crawley in 2018, DHA's Gatwick team moved to Astral Towers in January 2023 to accommodate our growing team.
The new office, located at Astral Towers on the popular Manor Royal Business Park, boasts more desk space and improved meeting facilities. The office is conveniently located only five minutes from Gatwick Airport railway station and seven minutes from the M23, with plenty of visitor parking available.
The team's core patch includes the M23 and M3 corridors, comprising East and West Sussex, Surrey, South London and Hampshire work closely with the Maidstone and London teams to provide the best service possible to our clients.

Jonathan Buckwell, Director
Jonathan is a Director heading up our Gatwick office. He joined DHA in 2005 and has 25 years experience in planning consultancy, having previously worked on major regeneration projects, including the Emirates Stadium, with Hepher Dixon (now Savills) in Milton Keynes and London.
Since opening our Gatwick office in 2018 Jonathan has lead the team from strength to strength building our knowledge in that area. Jonathan also chairs Developers East Sussex, which brings together public and private sector developer interests in the county, through which he has had several meetings with Secretaries of State and Ministers in the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.

Building Safety Levy LatestFrom Autumn 2026 Developers will be required to pay a building safety levy for homes they build. Rates will vary across local authorities in England and will be charged on a £/sqm basis, with schemes on brownfield sites receiving a 50% levy discount. For example, this will mean a new 200 sqm home on a greenfield site, in Sevenoaks in could cost around £8,500 a unit, in addition to any CIL or Section 106 Contributions which might be due.
