Plans to build five apartment blocks on a town centre car park in Medway have been approved thanks to the combined efforts of DHA's transport team and Guy Hollaway Architects.

Medway Council supported the proposal which will see 175 flats, commercial units, and a public space constructed at Chatham Waterfront in Globe Lane, alongside the redevelopment of a rundown car park at Britton Farm in Gillingham for further residential units.
The scheme, brought forward by the authority's Medway Development Company, is part of the wider plans to regenerate the town's economic prospects by improving the public realm.
The public space will include a central plaza, play area and waterfront podium with the hope that food and drink businesses will move into the commercial units and encourage more people to use this area.
The project meets the authority's 25% affordable homes policy, although they will all be based at a new five-storey block at Britton Farm.
