Our well-established Graduate Programme offers the training, hands-on experience and support you need to build a rewarding career in town planning and development. You will gain exposure across our Planning, Transport, Environment, and Viability and Land teams, working on exciting, innovative and nationally significant projects for a diverse range of clients.
Shortlisted for the RTPI Planning Consultancy of the year 2025, we can support you on your journey to become a qualified Planner within a matter of years.

Please state clearly in your application which of the three offices you are applying to however we do expect all our staff to travel between the three offices, all of which are easily accessible by train.
Deadline: 20 February 2026 but applications are reviewed on a first come basis.
Due to the volume of applications we may not be able to respond to all enquiries but we anticipate interviews and assessment centres will take part in April 2026 with the positions starting at the beginning of September.

Application process
Graduate Scheme
Once your CV has been recieved and reviewed, should you be successful you will be asked to complete an online assessment which will take approximately an hour and can be done at a time of your convenience. If the assessments are successfully passed you wll be asked to attend an assessment centre day at our Kent Office along with other candidates, this is anticpated to be in April 2026.
Following that our HR team will be in touch if you have been successful in securing a role.

Our well established in-house training programme offers a thorough 18 month programme, providing valuable insights across all disciplines at DHA, which is what makes our multi disciplinary approach unique.
Alongside our training programme, and where applicable, DHA will sponsor you through a relevant Masters course which will enable you to gain your professional accreditation.
Once you start your professional accrediation our dedicated Director will support and guide you through the process, making it as straight forward and stress-free as possible.
