DHA secured unanimous support of Cornwall’s Strategic Planning Committee for a major mixed use extension to Liskeard in Cornwall.
On behalf of our clients, Wilton Homes West, our planning, design and transport teams worked to ensure support from the local town and Parish Councils for the greenfield proposal. The scheme included 275 homes, employment land fronting the A38, a new doctors surgery, cinema, a new care home for up to 60 beds and extensive public open space.
The scheme also required the creation of a new access and associated infrastructure works including internal roads, footpaths, drainage, structural landscaping and car parking to support the development.
DHA had previously secured planning permission for a Premier Inn Hotel and Pub adjacent to the site.

Jonathan is a Director heading up our Crawley/Gatwick office. He joined DHA in 2005 and has 25 years experience in planning consultancy, having previously worked on major regeneration projects, including the Emirates Stadium, with Hepher Dixon (now Savills) in Milton Keynes and London.
