DHA's Interactive Map

On the one year anniversary of the launch of the Interactive AONB (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and Green Belt map for the DHA website, we are proud to announce a brand new update to the Interactive Map. The changes include an update to existing data, the introduction of new layers and an enhancement to the user-friendliness of the interactive map.

The AONB layer has now been updated to reflect the new “National Landscapes” designation which came into effect on 22^nd November 2023. We have also greatly expanded upon the number of layers that is part of the interactive map. The following layers have been added to the interactive map:

• Nutrient Neutrality Catchment Areas (England)
• National Parks Area (England)
• Paul’s Heights Policy Area (City of London)
• Affordable Housing Provision Requirement (England)
• Which Authorities Charge CIL (England)
• Housing Land Supply Information (South East)
• Marker for Authorities undertaking a Call for Sites exercise (South East)

In addition to the new and updated layers, additional features have been added to make the map more user-friendly. Some of the new features include being able to being able to measure the area of sites, being able to toggle layers and change base map to improve legibility, and new icons linking users to our social media accounts, telephone number and email provides easier access for users to enquire about our services.
