Plans for two new clifftop houses with stunning views over the Channel have received unanimous support from Dover District Council’s Planning Committee.
DHA worked with architects Hollaway Studio on the proposal for a sensitive and well considered scheme that takes inspiration from its location on the White Cliffs, for client TG Designer Homes. Focusing on highways and accessibility,
DHA worked alongside the design team to ensure there was sufficient parking for the four-bedroom homes by incorporating a range of parking options to ensure safe access to the site.
A previous application for the site in St Margaret’s Bay had been subject to a failed appeal but following a Design Review Panel and heritage consultation,
DHA and Hollaway were able to overcome the previous objections, enabling officers to support the application with a recommendation for approval. The local parish council was also supportive.
