Community and Charity
At DHA we realise the importance that community involvement plays, not only in our work but also in our personal lives.

Charity
In 2026 we continue to support three charities close to our hearts: The Heart of Kent Hospice, Spread a Smile and Head in the Game.
To raise awareness and much needed funds, in June 2025 the team took on an ambitious 24-hour run-and-cycle challenge from our Maidstone head office. With three exercise bikes and two treadmills running non-stop for 24 hours, the goal was to cover 1,000 miles. However the team exceeded this target by clocking up 1888 miles and raising over £7,200.
That’s equivalent to nearly 16 full circuits of the 120-mile route between our Kent, London, and Gatwick offices — all in just 24 hours!

In previous years, DHA has proudly supported a range of charitable causes. This has included fundraising for Smile Train, a charity that provides life-changing cleft surgery for children around the world and one that has personally supported a member of our team and their family.
In 2023, DHA organised a corporate football match at The Valley, alongside taking on the mammoth Medway Medley challenge. This ambitious undertaking saw our team cover 75 miles of the River Medway from source to mouth, travelling on foot, by canoe, and by bike. Through these efforts, we are proud to have raised over £6,000 for this incredible charity.
In 2022, our team completed another impressive challenge, walking the 43 miles between our Gatwick and Maidstone offices. This initiative raised £6,000 in support of Alzheimer’s Research UK, helping to fund vital research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of dementia.
Community
At DHA, we are committed to making a positive contribution to the local community and to supporting the people, organisations and initiatives that help our area thrive.
As part of our Investing in Young People ethos, we are proud to support young people in sport, helping individuals and teams develop their skills, confidence and passion for their chosen activities. We also recognise the importance of accessible facilities and community organisations, and are pleased to contribute towards projects that benefit both clubs and the wider community.
Our commitment extends beyond financial support. Our team regularly volunteers their time and skills to help maintain and improve local community and environmental spaces. From gardening and planting to conservation and practical maintenance projects, we are proud to get involved and make a hands-on difference.
We believe that supporting our local community means investing in the people, places and environment around us. Through sponsorship, volunteering and community partnerships, DHA is proud to play its part in creating positive, welcoming spaces and helping local people and organisations flourish.
