In April 2021, IEMA’s Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Quality Mark Scheme turns 10 years old.

IEMA’s EIA Quality Mark is the only UK-wide scheme to independently verify performance both in terms of ES Quality and EIA team operations – it has for the past 10 years helped organisations to improve and demonstrate competence in the field of EIA, something to be celebrated!” Stefanie Simmons, IEMA Quality Mark Assessor.

EIA has a huge role to play in ensuring that the environmental impacts of new development are minimised and that key environmental issues are fully integrated into the decision-making process. DHA have worked on a large number of #EIA projects during our time as Quality Mark Members including:

  • Energy to waste developments
  • Large mixed-use schemes
  • New garden settlements
  • A number of agricultural developments

DHA are proud to be a continuing member of the scheme which recognises the quality of our EIA work.
