Two of DHA's Senior Transport Planners presented a paper at the Annual JCT Traffic Signal Symposium.
Hannah and Jacky were invited to present a paper at the 23rd Annual JCT Traffic Signal Symposium. The paper focused on how best to quantify and communicate the results of junction modelling to different stakeholders. They considered a number of different ways in which this could be achieved, from providing a non-technical summary, to updating the language used and also the possibility of integrating elements of transport economics into the planning process to quantity the benefits of mitigation schemes.
The following Q&A session provided some positive feedback, including how they could take their ideas forward in the future. From this, Hannah and Jacky hope to improve the way we communicate the transport impacts of development to a wider audience.
DHA are extremely proud of Hannah and Jacky for representing DHA, and presenting at their first JCT Symposium, also for winning the prize for best presentation.
