Kent Design & Development Awards 2016
The search is now under way to find the winners of the Kent Design & Development Awards 2016, and DHA Planning is proud to be a headline sponsor.
Celebrating the design excellence of the county’s property and construction industry, the awards – which are now in their 12th year – are jointly organised and sponsored by DHA Planning, Kent County Council and PR and marketing agency Maxim.
New for 2016 is the Conservation category, supported by the Rochester Bridge Trust. It means there are now six categories to enter, each giving professionals in the built environment the opportunity to demonstrate how they are using their skills to develop and regenerate the county.
The awards, which take place every two years, are now open for entries in the following categories:
- Commercial, Industrial and Retail
- Environmental Performance
- Infrastructure and Renewables
- Public Buildings – Education and Community
- Residential – Minor and Major.
The winners of the six categories will go forward to compete for the Project of the Year trophy, sponsored by DHA Planning, which will be awarded to the building or scheme with the greatest level of design quality in Kent. Last year this was won by Goat Lees Primary School in Ashford (image below).
The deadline for entering the Kent Design & Development Awards 2016 via http://www.kentdesigndevelopmentawards.co.uk/p/how-to-enter.html is 19th August, 2016.
