King's Lynn Power Plant
Palm Paper’s plans to generate their own power are one step closer to being realised after dha submitted an application for a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine to the Planning Inspectorate.
The Development Consent Order would allow the King's Lynn paper mill to generate their own electricity and steam using natural gas, reducing their reliance on imported energy and cutting their annual carbon emissions by around 67,000 tonnes.
The scheme is one of only twenty three Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects currently being examined by the Inspectorate across England and Wales.
