A mixed use scheme on the eastern side of Faversham has been awarded outline planning consent.
The 16.5ha green field site will house a business park, a hotel, a pub/restaurant and a health centre as well as 196 residential dwellings, of which 30% will be affordable.
4.5ha of open space will also be preserved allowing for parkland, allotments and a new cricket pitch for Faversham Cricket Club. dha assisted in promoting the site from a reserved allocation to a full draft allocation in the emerging Swale Local Plan, before working alongside Clague Architects to prepare the outline application which was secured at Planning Committee.
