Double Success At Appeal
Continuing our successful track record on securing permissions for the conversion of rural buildings, DHA have secured planning permission at appeal for the demolition of two buildings and the conversion of a number of redundant agricultural barns, formerly used for egg production, to 7 No. live/work units with some commercial floorspace near Stansted.
Working on behalf of a private client, DHA have also secured planning permission for the conversion of redundant agricultural barns to provide to provide a new equestrian facility to accompany a newly permitted dwelling in a conservation area, which DHA had previously won on appeal.
Notwithstanding the fact that this application also needed to be taken to appeal, dha were successful in presenting a case for the conversion of the barn to provide stabling and stores, along with the change of use of the land to paddocks. Costs were also awarded to the Appellants.
