Permission has been secured for 53 new homes and public open space in Ash near Dover on behalf of Classicus, a Kent-based developer.
Despite the site being allocated for development in the Ash Neighbourhood Plan, the proposals still faced local opposition over the issue of access and perception of overdevelopment, leading to the Parish Council objecting.
Working closely with the planning officers, DHA secured outline permission for the new homes as well as landscaping, drainage and other infrastructure, with approval to demolish all existing buildings
