The completion of the development of Eclipse Park, located near Junction 7 of the M20, has moved a step closer after DHA secured planning permission for four industrial units and a drive-thru Costa Coffee shop for its client Gallagher Developments.
Recognising the demand for industrial units with good motorway access, and the commercial success of its Nepicar Park Industrial Estate near Wrotham and the M20/ M26, Gallagher brought forward plans for four flexible units – and with it the prospect of more jobs for Maidstone.
Designed by Maidstone-based GDM Architects, the four units range in size from 4,224 sq ft to 6,443 sq ft, and incorporate Kentish ragstone to complement its use throughout Eclipse Park, plus timber and black cladding.
Costa Coffee, sitting on a 0.2 hectare plot, will offer 1,800sq ft of retail space with 28 car parking spaces, two disabled spaces and one waiting space.
