Acting on behalf of the English family, who can trace their farming history back to 1906, DHA helped secure approval for the development in the Green Belt which will restore the connection between the farm, its hops and beer production – a perfect closed loop.

The hoppers huts will be used for agricultural workers and tourists by providing accommodation. The owners have successfully established links with a number of charities and the huts will offer working breaks and country escapes for vulnerable groups, including ex-service personnel and the partially-sighted.

"Successfully making the case for the proposals saw us focus on the issue of the Green Belt as well as listed buildings on the farm. It was clear that there was widespread local support for the reconnection of the farm's past with an exciting and sustainable vision for the future carried the day."
