The house, which has now been fully built out is a large country home built to accommodate three generations of the same family.
The house near Ulcombe in Kent, was designed to embody the Kent countryside which contributed to the paragraph 55 (previously PPS7) planning consent being granted.
The external design is based on the traditional oast house with four towers (oasts) interlinking to create one family home.
The Architects, James Macdonald Wright and Nial Maxwell have been shortisted for a number of awards including a RIBA South East Award 2017 and winner of the House of Year 2017.
