Apprenticeship Scheme

We are on the hunt for students who are intersted in paving a career in the Planning and Development industry but want to go straight into the workplace and study part-time.

If you have what it takes you could have a long and successful future with DHA, our multi-disciplinary professionals will work alongside you to support you to build your knowledge and skills and work towards gaining the necessary qualifications.

Our apprenticeship scheme is open to all six of our different disciplines however if you aren't sure which area you are best suited to we will provide you with experience in all sectors and coach you to find where your skill set best sits.

Our latest apprentice recruit, Matt Marsh, talks about his experience at DHA and why he chose this pathway rather than persuing further full time education.

We have taken on a number of Apprentices over the past few years and they have benefited from our in-house training programme, a day to day mentor and the opportunity to be sponsored through a college or university part time course.

Our apprenticeship is aimed at those without a degree but you should have a minimum of 5 GCSE's with Maths and English at a C or above, and 2 A Levels, preferably in Geography but this is not a necessity.

In additon you should possess the following skills and attributes:

  •  Full clean driving licence, or working towards gaining a licence
  • IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Able to work to deadlines and be organised
  • An interest in the built environment
