Hart Street Blue Quarter - Kent

DHA secured planning permission for a scheme of 307 residential units on a former works depot site at Hart Street in Maidstone for Bellwinch Homes, a part of the Kier Group.

The one and two bedroom flat scheme known as the “Blue Quarter” is a carbon neutral development. This means that the carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) associated with the construction phase have been measured and any unavoidable emissions have been balanced out by putting money to community based projects which reduce the equivalent amount of CO2. The measurement includes project design, construction, sales, marketing, PR, materials, logistics and travel.
