The Cellars, Benenden - Class O (office to residential)
Historically the site has previously had applications for a doctors surgery and residential conversion refused by the Council. DHA Planning were engaged by the landowner and successfully secured a change of use of an office to provide a single residential unit.
Park Corner Farm – Class O (office to residential)
DHA Planning secured a change of use of an office building at Park Corner Farm to provide a single residential unit. The proposal will aid the landowner with on-site security. The unit has historically been used as the offices for the site but in recent years had become redundant. DHA successfully negotiated with the Council to ensure that an approval was forthcoming.
Highfield Farm – Class Q (agriculture to residential)
DHA secured the change of use and conversion of two agricultural buildings to provide three residential dwellings. The first building was an old agricultural ‘bungalow’ which was originally constructed as a dwelling in the 1970’s but never completed. Falling into disrepair DHA secured the change of use and conversion of the building to provide a single residential unit. DHA also secured the change of use and conversion of a barn on the site to provide two residential dwellings.
Rosemead Nursery – Class Q (agriculture to residential)
Having already failed to secure a change of use and conversion of a barn at Rosemead Nursery, DHA Planning were approached by the landowner to provide assistance and guidance for the conversion of their redundant hay barn. DHA Planning prepared an amended application on behalf of the landowner and was successful in securing the conversion of the hay barn to provide two dwellings.
