The Country Park provides its visitors with a vast 200 acres of safe, off-road space for leisure activities such as cycling and orienteering. DHA Planning worked on behalf of the College to secure planning permission for the redeveloplemt of the Visitor Centre. The new centre will house additional attractions including a mining museum, café, conference area, bicycle hire centre and shop. It will also contain a biomass plant for the generation of renewable energy.

Hadlow College and DHA are currently progressing with the development of the pit head, which can be found to the west of the Country Park, into a business park and innovation centre.
